How to be truly neuro affirming when
no one has taught us how
Free webinar
Join Allison Davies on Monday, 8th September at 7-8.30pm AEST for a free webinar and Q&A that will cover…
When outdated information isn’t updated in the systems that support us
What neuro-affirming actually asks of us
How to guide ourselves towards a neuro ‘shape-shifting’ of sorts
What changes in our own lives when we approach children through a neuro-affirming lens
There will be no slides, no graphs, no data presented, just a meandering stream of thoughts and philosophical ponderings underpinned by evidence and a cultural need bigger than we can imagine.
This is for you if you’re:
Starting your journey in understanding your (or your child’s) neurotype
Accessing support that doesn’t fit right
Learning about neurodivergence from the mainstream or medical model
Providing services to neurodivergent people
Feeling deflated and defeated in your own capacity
Seeking a support model that doesn’t not aim to change you or your child
‘How to be Truly Neuro Affirming When No One has Taught us How’ will be recorded and a replay link with permanent access will be sent to all registrants.
PLEASE NOTE that those who attend live will have the opportunity to engage in a live Q&A with Alli and will also be given a discount code for a very exciting and time sensitive opportunity not to be missed. (Haha, sorry, such a tease!)
Please tell your friends, family and colleagues and register below.
Hi, I'm Alli.
Allison Davies (she/her) lives and works on Tommeginne country, Lutruwita (Tasmania), Australia. She creates online resources for parents and teachers seeking guidance around using music therapeutically in their own lives, and to reclaim their inherent musicality along the way.
Working within a neurodiversity framework that favours regulation over intervention, and sharing her lived experience of AuDHD, Allison empowers others to use music as a tool for neuro-regulation at home and in the classroom.
Her programs, workshops and speaking events have received international acclaim for their ability to enthral an audience, deliver lightbulb moments and shift paradigms away from behavioural management and towards brain care.
