Kalimba is a Bantu word for ‘little music’.

To play: Hold the Kalimba with both hands and gently pluck the steel prongs with both thumbs. The Kalimba makes soft music and is perfect for quiet time, meditation and mindfulness. The pentatonic scale your Kalimba is tuned to means you literally can’t play a wrong note, so absolutely no musical experience is necessary.

Tuning: C major scale, 17 keys

Materials: American Black Cherry, vegetable oil, wax, steal

Hand crafted: Walsrode, Germany
